Why So Many Christians Vote Libertarian

In the past 2 weeks my goal was to break down as simply as possible why many in Christians in general vote for either of the two major parties in elections. But what about third parties? The Libertarian party has grown more popular in recent elections. Why do so many Christians choose to vote for this third party? Christians who are staunchly Republican or Democratic may wonder why anyone would dare vote for a party that has yet to put a President in office.

New Son!

I am happy to announce that my wife has given birth to our second son! Both are healthy and doing well. We are all so blessed!

How Will I Raise Both My Children in This Violent World?

For over a week we’ve been expecting the imminent birth of our second son.

He knows that if you cut somebody, there’s blood, that he wants to kill bad guys. At the age of four, his penchant for terror worries me already. Will he grow up to respect human life in the way I want him to?

My Pixar Cars Theory

Much has been said about the Pixar theory wherein all the movies are linked to a single universe in which the inanimate objects and imaginary beings of our world are real and sentient.

In Toy Story, we had sentient toys. In Cars, we have sentient cars. The difference? In Toy Story, humans are still here, but in Cars, people are gone.

This is what we mean by specters. In what is likely Daniel Craig’s last 007 film, we see an immortal James Bond confronted by his entire mythology, coming to terms with his increasingly irrelevant role as an old-fashion spy in a postmodern world. It took four films to do it.
