Good news, readers! Yesterday being Memorial Day, I held off on posting this. Four of my poems have been published in the latest issue of Hedge Apple, the literary magazine of Hagerstown College.
You can purchase the volume here, as well as preview the first of my poems, “Blackberries,” and great work by other authors.
The following poems of mine have been included:
“Blackberries”
“Detour”
“Here On Earth”
“Ah, Life”
Here is the first stanza of “Blackberries”:
I turned blackberries from the stem
on down the brambles row
ripe and bulging
silver in the sun of evening.
